FAQ
What is the difference between Full Service, Final Steps, and Wedding Day Event Management?
Full Service Planning is comprehensive planning from engagement to wedding day. We guide design, vendor selection, investment management, logistics, and execution.
Final Steps begins approximately 3 months prior to the wedding. This is ideal for couples who have booked most vendors but need professional guidance to finalize details and manage the day.
Wedding Day Event Management & Direction begins 8 weeks prior and focuses primarily on timeline creation, vendor confirmation, and seamless execution on the wedding day.
How far in advance should we book?
Full Service clients typically book 12–18 months in advance.
Final Steps and Wedding Day Management are often secured 6–10 months prior, depending on availability. Because we accept a limited number of weddings per weekend, early booking is encouraged.
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes. While our services are thoughtfully structured, we understand that every couple’s needs are unique. Custom proposals may be created based on scope, guest count, design complexity, and event weekend needs.
How involved will we need to be?
You’ll absolutely have ownership and involvement throughout the planning process. After all, it’s your wedding, and your voice matters. We’ll guide you through thoughtful decisions and provide clear direction so everything feels organized and manageable, but it’s your input that makes the celebration personal and meaningful.
The level of involvement can also depend on the package you choose. Our full-service clients often prefer a more guided, hands-on experience, while couples in our smaller packages may take on more direct planning responsibilities until our contract begins later in the process.
No matter the level of service, our goal is to create a smooth, collaborative process that leaves you confident, informed, and excited.
Tell us about your design process.
Our design process is very collaborative and starts with getting to know you. We’ll have you fill out our wedding design questionnaire and share photos of weddings that inspire you. This gives us insight into your style, what you’re drawn to, and how you want your day to feel.
We’ll also talk through your overall wedding investment so we can thoughtfully shape a design that aligns with your priorities. Beautiful weddings happen when creativity and strategy work together.
From there, we intentionally build a vendor team that supports your vision. Florist, stationery, rentals, lighting, and every vendor partner needed to bring it to life. We work closely alongside them, guiding the details and refining the design as it evolves.
Our goal is to make the entire process feel exciting and seamless, and to create a wedding that feels authentically you.
Is the design process included in every package?
Our full design process is included exclusively with our full-service planning clients. Because it’s such a collaborative and in-depth experience, it’s best suited for couples who want comprehensive support from start to finish.
For clients who book one of our smaller planning packages, custom design services can be added at an hourly rate. This allows you to receive professional design guidance tailored to your needs, whether that’s refining a color palette, selecting rentals, or building out a cohesive visual plan.
We’re always happy to create the level of support that feels right for you and your celebration.
Will you help us choose vendors?
Yes. For Full Service clients, vendor curation and management are included.
Final Steps and Event Management clients may add a vendor curation session if needed.
We only recommend trusted professionals whose work aligns with your aesthetic, priorities, and investment.
Do you attend vendor meetings?
For Full Service planning, we attend select vendor meetings based on your needs.
For other packages, vendor communication and timeline confirmation are included, but meeting attendance may vary.
How many planners will be present on the wedding day?
A Lead Planner and one assistant are included for wedding day services.
Additional assistants may be recommended depending on guest count, venue logistics, or décor complexity.
Do you handle décor setup?
Yes. We set up secondary décor items such as:
- Programs
- Escort cards
- Menus
- Guest book
- Table numbers
- Cake accessories
- Personal items
Extensive installations or large-scale décor setups may require rental staff or additional labor.
Do you distribute final payments and gratuities?
Yes. We collect and distribute pre-prepared payments and gratuities to vendors on your behalf.
Are there any additional fees?
At times, we manage orders for select rental items, including linens, décor, lighting, wedding-day signage, tents, and other outdoor elements as needed. These services may incur additional fees.
Any additional fees associated with rentals, production, or specialty items will be discussed with and approved by the client prior to being secured.
Please note that labor charges, additional staffing, extended hours, or other event-day support services may also be required, depending on the scope of the design and logistics. All potential charges will be communicated and agreed upon before they are incurred.
